Divine Word is an active participant in the "School Inclusion Model (SIM) – In-School Therapy Project".  An NCSE Speech and Language Therapist and Occupational Therapist work in partnership with us, to build teacher and school capacity across the continuum of support framework

We would like to thank Fiona Tuite, Senior Project Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) and Siobhain O’Shea, Senior Project Occupational Therapist (OT) from NCSE, for working in partnership with us over the year.  Fiona and Siobhain spent time in our classrooms from junior infants up to 2nd class. They identified areas of strengths and needs, provided recommendations and guidelines in response to needs, and worked with our teachers and SNA to implement these guidelines.
